How come?

How to make a cloud in a  glass jar ?

Supplies:
Image titled Make a Cloud in a Bottle Step 1                ►Large glass jar (one gallon size )
                ►Matches
                ►Rubber glove
                ►Rubber band
                ►Flashlight or a lamp
                ►Food coloring
                ►Water

How it work?

Image titled Make a Cloud in a Bottle Step 8                   The air is full of warm water vapor molecules inside the jar. The air is compressed by the glove because the glove takes up some of the space inside the jar. Pulling the glove fingers out of the jar releases some space in the jar. The air inside the jar cools. The smoke from the match acts as a vehicle that the water molecules can attach to. They stick to the smoke particles, condensing into cloud droplets. When the glove fingers go back into the jar, the air inside the jar warms up again and the cloud disappears.

Step 1:      Pour boiling water into the jar.

Cover to the bottom of the jar with water.
Swirl the water around the jar.
Use oven mitts if the jar is very hot.

Step 2:      Put the rubber glove wrist around the mouth of the jar.

Having the fingers of the glove pointing downward into the jar will seal in the air into the jar.

Image titled Make a Cloud in a Bottle Step 4Step 3:      Try to put you hand in the glove.

With this you can make sure that noting happens to the water in the jar.

Step 4:      Light a match and drop it in the jar.

Image titled Make a Cloud in a Bottle Step 5               Take off the glove from the jar for a moment.
Light a match and drop it in to the jar.
Stretch the glove back over the jar.
The water at the bottom of the jar will put out the match, and smoke will from in te jar.

Step 5:      Light a match and drop it in the jar.

Slide you hand into the glove and pull it outward agin.
This time a cloud will form in the jar, and when you put you hand back inside the jar the cloud will disapper.

Step 6:      Have fun.

If you use a flashlight on the jar you will be able to see the cloud better.
If you add few drops of food coloring to the water in the botton of the jar, you can see the cloud bloom with differents colors.

Recycling

Recycling saves energy, reduce raw material extraction and combats climate change.
Other recycling facts:

  • Every American makes about four (4) pounds of garbage daily.
  • Every month Americans throw away enough glass bottles and jars to fill up a giant skyscraper (like the Empire State Building).
  • Recycling one aluminum can saves enough energy to run a TV for three hours.
  • Recycling one (1)-ton (approximately 2,000 pounds) of paper saves seventeen (17) trees, two (2) barrels of oil (enough to run the average car for 1,260 miles), 4,100 Kilowatts of energy (enough to power the average home for six (6) months) 3.2 Cubic-yards of landfill, and sixty (60) pounds of pollution.

Color classification of recycling

Blue – Paper
Green – Glass
Yellow – Metal
Red – Plastic

The recycling process
  1.             Collection: In the first step of the recycling process, the recycling materials are collected.
  2.       Processing: Once cleaned and sorted, the recyclables are processed to retrieve the raw materials, and the raw materials are then used in manufacturing recycled content products.
  3.       Purchasing Recycled Products: The third step involves purchasing recycled products. This third step completes the recycling loop.

It's Progress

Exoskeleton

eLegs

The exoskeleton is a external skeleton that upports and protects the body. In nature we find diferents types of exoskeleton that are known as "shells", some examples are insects and crustaceans. The humans use that animal as idea to create the humans exoskeletons to help people with disabilities, the idea born as a military use, they think to use the exoskeleton to increase the soldiers capabilities, but people found a better use in medicine.

eLegs is a type of exoskeleton that support the legs of a pacient with disability, and help the paciento to walk. The suit consists of a backpack with a controller connected to a robotic legs . It is powered by four engines, two for the hip and one for each knee. The ankle joint is controlled by springs that keep the foot angled to walk . While the sensors in the legs send information to the control unit to determine how they should be bent joints. The team has lithium - cobalt batteries allow the suit to be operated with full autonomy .

How to test a LED bulb?

Before starting the  LED test we requieres a multimeter, thats is a1 special digital machine used to test the voltage of LED bulbs.

 First Step:
Connecting the LED bulb to the multimeter.

The LED bulb has two terminals: the anode (positive) and the cathode (negative). Them you connect the black testing lead to the COM terminal on the multimeter and the red testing to the multimeter's terminal that ha the Omega sign. Be sure that black probe of the lead connect to the cathode and the red probe connects to the anode of the bulb. When you turn on the multimer display should show you "OL" or "OPEN".

Second Step:
                       Interpreting LED Test Results
If the multimeter display show you "OL" or "OPEN" you can be ure that connection is correctly, them you can start testing the LED bulb, first it is important to shield the bulb to see how it glows, if the bulb glows with a dim light the LED is with lower efficiency, but if the bulb glows with clarity and brightness the LED is with higher efficiency.

Dimensions

Statue of  Liberty

The statue of Liberty was designed by the French sculptor Frederic Bartholdi, The statue of liberty is 46 meters high and its head is 3 meters wide; it is located on Liberty Island in New York Harbor in New York City. The statue weigh 204 tones, the statue is visited daily at least for one thousand people.
The official name of the statue of liberty is “Liberty Enlightening to world”; the width of right arm is 3 meter, the width of waist is 10 meters.

  • Crown: 25 windows and seven rays make up the crown.
  • Wind Sway: 50 mph winds cause the Statue to sway up to 3 inches and the torch up to 6 inches.
  • Chains: Chains and a broken shackle are at the Statue's feet and cannot be seen from below.
  • Weight of framework: 250,000 lbs. (125 tons).
  • Hand length   5.00 m.
  • Length tablet   7.19 m.
  • Width of the tablet   4.14 m.
  •  Thickness of tablet   0.61 m.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa

The height of the tower is 55.86 meters from the ground on the low side and 56.67 meters on the high side, the tower has 296 or 294 steps; the seventh floor has two fewer steps on the north-facing staircase. The width of the walls at the base is 2.44 m .Its weight is estimated at 14,500 metric tons, the tower leaned at an angle of 5.5 degrees, but the tower now leans at about 3.99 degrees. This means that the top of the tower is displaced horizontally 3.9 meters from the center.

People has troubles giving direction , this post offers tips to learn how to give directions and locations. Firt of all the following word are important to ask more easily and also to find the place you are looking for faster.

Now I will give you and example of how to use them; Please specify the below direction from de X, how to get the point fifteen.

It is very simple first walk to blocks to the west then turn right and go next to the tennis court.

I hope this post will help to locate in the city and also to help people to locate in the city.

Locating Parts

To implement this section is shown below the user a small challenge , which is based on the main theme ( Locating parts ) , in this case focused on a vehicle.

Fancy yourself a bit of car nut? Or wondering if you could do what your mechanic can easily do at home? Test you knowledge of what makes a car run. This will determine if you know something or nothing about cars!Simply Identify the car part in the picture. If you score Expert by answering over 80% correct you will be issued a Certificate Of AchievementNote: 2 or 3 of the answers you have to choose between have a option that may not be actual car part. If you pick these options as your answer you should probably not work on cars and should be a bit embarrassed.

Can you identify the car parts?
